Matty and his hats.

It is funny going from one baby who did not smile very often to a baby that will smile at the wall.  You just look at Matthew and he will smile at you.  We just coincidentally had these pictures of him in hats.  Well, you put a hat on him and he will just smile, why not take a picture?  The boy is just the cutest thing.

We had a holiday block party outside so he needed a warm hat.  Love it!

Every kid that goes to Disneyland needs a pair of ears.

This is my favorite.  It is Adrienne's "Jessie" hat, but Matthew wears it so well.

Roll Tide! And other things...

Tonight was the BCS national championship game and Alabama whooped LSU 21-0.  Mama, Dada and Matthew got in the spirit and dressed the part with their Bama gear but Miss Adrienne wouldn't have it.  Auntie Tricia gave her a Bama cheerleading uniform but she refused to wear it tonight.  Uh oh, maybe she is an LSU fan!

Daddy and me getting ready for the big game!

Daddy kisses.

All decked out.
This weekend we were at Brian and Jenn's house for what we call Kenny Christmas (the name is totally poached from the fam down South.)  The girls had a lot of fun and Dani made them the cutest tutus.  So of course we wanted to get pictures of the girls in them.  Sara and Fiona were so cute and happy...............then there is Adrienne.  She has been such a pleasure lately.  Let's just say we are in the thick of the Terrible Twos.  She wanted nothing to do with her picture taken.

What cute little girls.  Who is the brat on the right?

Nope, Daddy can't make it better either.

She was sure happy hanging with  her "Uncle Guys."  Dave is Adrienne's #1 right now.

Merry Christmas

We had a lot of fun during Christmas.  Adrienne was not quite as into it as I thought she would be but it is always fun no matter what.  Maybe next year she will start to understand Santa Clause a little bit better.  After presents and breakfast we got in the car and went down to Lemoore to see my Sister.  We had fun with the fam and the kids.  The next day we went to their friends house to see their horses.  Next Christmas.............Adrienne gets a pony.  Yeah right!!!!

Good pals

I was looking through old pictures of Adrienne and came across this picture of Fiona and Adrienne.  It is amazing how young they were.  This was taken in July of 2010 (Adrienne was 10 months and Fiona was 2 1/2.

The girls are such good pals.  It is fun to look at a picture of them now and see the difference in how they look.  What has not changed is their behavior with each other.  Good buddies!!!!  They have always loved hanging out together.

Crafty if only for a day

I am not a crafty person.  I like crafty things, it just isn't in my blood.  Probably because I am not very patient.  I have this wall above the little desk in my kitchen.  It has always been very unattractive with a tattered bulletin board on it.  Even worse, the wall behind it is very yucky with a bunch of old adhesive etc.  The only thing I could think of was to do a ribbon board.  Not such a difficult task you say?  Well, I had an electric outlet and a phone jack to deal with as well.

Tada!!!  With some help from my awesome hubby, I completed what I believe to be a very nice looking ribbon board.  Don't expect any additional crafts coming out of this lady anytime soon but apparently I can pull it off if left with no other options.

Disneyland Xmas 2011

We went back to Disneyland during their Christmas celebration this year.  We went around the same time of year last year and knew we wanted to do it again.  This year was so much fun that we have decided to try and make it an annual thing.  If you haven't been to Disneyland at Christmas (it runs from mid November to early January) it is such a special time.  They have decorations galore and Christmas music blasting throughout.  Lot's of seasonal things happening throughout both Disneyland and California Adventure.  I don't know of one person who has been there at this time who has not liked it.

Adrienne and Fiona had fun the entire time.  They love spending time together and riding the rides.  Fiona is such a dare devil, riding Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  She loved them both.  Adrienne rode the Go Gadget Coaster in Toon Town, she liked just a little but not a lot.  She really likes the Tea Cups, It's a Small World, The Little Mermaid, the Carousel, Autopia and her favorite since she was 9 months old..........Disney Junior Live!  This was the first time that we have gone to Disney where Adrienne was more aware of what was going on.  Lot's of fun!!!!

Matthew was a different story.  Just like Hawaii, he does not like being on the go.  He did not want to sleep in his stroller and would get really tired and cry a lot.  Poor little guy.  He will have more fun next year.  Thanks to Dave and Dani for being so patient and helping us out......let's just say Mommy and Daddy got to ride all of their favorite rides too!

I would spend a lot of money for those toys.
