Professor Chaos & the new slide!

Paul has now named Matthew Professor Chaos.  PC is a character from South Park.  Butters Scotch turns himself into this character to cause chaos and destruction.  You have to see it, I guess.  Well, Matthew is Professor Chaos.  He climbs on everything, bangs his head into everything and tries to destroy everything in his path.  He has also discovered the dog door.  He will exit out of it any time he can.

"Here I go!"

"I am making a break for it!"

"Ha ha, I did it!  Oh wait, can someone come and get me?"

We went over to Ikea last weekend and picked up an impulse buy.  A really cute indoor slide.  The kids have been having a blast with it.  I just wish that I had bought it at the beginning of the heat wave.  Matthew only likes to climb up the slide and then down on his belly.  This frustrates Adrienne, because she likes to do it the proper way.

"Down I go!"

Adrienne kept sliding into him.

Adrienne was trying to prevent Matthew from climbing up the slide.

"You better get out of my way Baby Brother."

Squaw Valley

Well, I finally got a job!!!!!! Yay!!!!  I don't start until September 4th, so Paul and I decided to celebrate a little by taking the kids to the Resort at Squaw Creek for the weekend.  Now I had never been there during the summer time.  It was absolutely beautiful!  I cannot wait to go back.  The views, the bike riding, the pool with a bar!!!!!!  There was hiking and golf but we never got around to that.  Next time.
It took us a while to get up there on Friday afternoon.  We got stuck behind two bad accidents so it took us 4 hours to get up there.  BTW, it should take us no more than 2!!!!!  The kids were fabulous and we got up there just in time to head down to the Village for dinner.  Wanderlust was going on while we were there, which was interesting to say the least.  It is a yoga and health and wellness retreat.  Let's just say, Paul and I didn't fit in.  We headed straight to pizza and beers, no line!!!
The next morning, we took off on the bikes and rode the bike trail down past Alpine Meadows.  It is absolutely beautiful.  You ride on a separate trail than the road and it runs alongside the Truckee river.  I highly recommend it for anyone who likes to do leisurely bike rides.  After that we went back to the room for naps and then off to the pool.  Rum Runners!!!!  Let's just say it was a great weekend.

This smile was too cute.  He is such a ham!

Got Adrienne smiling.

"Ice Ceam"

Our room was beautiful.  We had a one bedroom suite.

O.k., I can't take the best pictures, but I like the eagle pole.

Beautiful morning.

"It's o.k. Bunny Bear.  We will get back to our tee bees soon."

"This thing better not move."

We stopped along our ride.  Isn't this just perfect?

Adrienne threw sticks in the river the entire time.

Awe, my sleepy boy.

I am going to say it again.....ibert owes us some of their marketing budget!
People were stopping us asking about the seats.

This kid is too cute and so patient on his bike rides.
He just rides along as happy as can be.

Adrienne always picks Daddy's bike.  Of course.

Mama cruising along.
