More of Matty

Here are some newer pics of the boy. He is doing great. Adrienne is pretty good with him, she likes to give him the baby toys. Although, we need to remind her that they cannot be thrown at him! Outside of that, she is a great big sister. Paul is officially back to work tomorrow so the kids are all mine. This should be fun.

A-Train

Oh yeah, an explanation of the new blog name. Adrienne pronounces her name like "A-Train." Also, we needed a new name since we can't leave Matthew out. Paul came up with A-Train and Matty.

He's here!

Well, I never would have guessed that I would go into labor on my own, let alone have my water break exactly like it did when I was pregnant with Adrienne. I had a c-section scheduled for Friday, July 15th and my water broke on Tuesday night. When I say it broke, IT BROKE!!!!! Just like in the movies folks, pretty gross. If we have a third baby, I will be ready with towels when I get towards the end.
Paul and I went over to the hospital to have a baby. I was pretty nervous to have another c-section so I was a bit on edge going in. The nurses were awesome and my doctor was so cool too. I do have to say, the anesthesiologist was so funny and comforting too. All of the OR pics are taken from him. Shortly after the surgery started, I started to feel weird, pretty woozy. It got worse and worse and apparently I passed out. I guess my heart rate got pretty low, below 26. The great anesthesia doc gave me something (I think some sort of ephedrine) and I was back to feeling great almost immediately. Well this felt weird for me but apparently freaked Paul out. He started to feel woozy and almost passed out. I look over and the doc and the nurse are fanning Paul. He wasn't recovering so they wheeled him out on a special "Daddy ain't doing so well" chair. Paul spent the rest of the surgery in the hospital room with some juice. He never got to cut the cord. But......... we are all fine. Baby Matthew Raoul Kenny was born at 9:48pm on July 12th weighing 7 lbs and 9 ounces and 20 inches long. He is beautiful. We are in heaven. Adrienne likes to give him kisses. Enjoy some pics and we hope to see you all soon.

And finally.................Matthew's room!

Oh my goodness, I have been waiting to post this for a while now. We have had most of the room completed for a while but not all of the finishing touches. Paul hung the letters for his name today and took some pictures. I am really happy with the way it turned out. I included a before picture for those of you that have not seen the ugly sponge painted walls that were there before.

Ooooooh a new car!

Well I never thought it would happen anytime soon but we decided to fork out for a new car. Pretty much everyone knows that I was laid off in March so I had to turn in the company car (they frown upon keeping it, hee hee.) We thought going with one car would work out pretty easily. For the most part, it did but there were times that it was a huge pain in the butt. Today we went out to the auto mall and test drove a bunch of mid sized cars. We ended up with a Ford Fusion. We really like it. It is a pretty nice car and wow did we pay a great price (thanks IBM!) This is obviously not our car but close enough for now until I can get my lazy butt to take a picture of it.

Still pregnant and there is still a fox!

Well, man it has been only 38 weeks but it feels like an eternity. You should still be pregnant at 38 weeks but I have to admit, I would really love to go into labor right now. I am scheduled for a July 15th C-section so he will be here no later then that. One week, little guy, one week!

Oh and apparently the fox is still here. Two nights ago, Nelly was in the back yard in the middle of the night barking and sure enough we could here the fox doing its snarl/bark noise. Dang it, we thought that thing was gone. Well, off to the store to get some moth balls and ammonia.

I will get pics of the new baby up once he is here. Adrienne is in for such a rude awakening!!!!!

She really is my kid!

Paul and Dave took Adrienne and Fiona to ice cream on the 4th of July. Paul decided to let her have at it and took lots of pictures. Too funny.
