Folsom Zoo

We love the Folsom Zoo. It is practically down the street from our house and is a very low key zoo that you can get through in about an hour. It is really a sanctuary for all different kinds of animals, they even have feral cats. Yes, kitty cats. We had a good day and I thought I would share some pics.

Spaghetti Night!

Most of you know that Paul is the chef in the family. I do not do much cooking. Since Daddy was gone and we were left on our own, there are about 4 things that I can prepare. It turned out to be spaghetti night. She loved it. The only thing is that this meal is such a pain to clean up. I may not be a cook, but I am a cleaning extraordinaire!

Hot hike and Elmo slippers!

We resumed our hikes this weekend. Since it was not going to be in the triple digits, we went out somewhere in the middle of nowhere. We had to drive down a long dirt road and we all were thinking of the movie Deliverance when we saw the folks at the river. Basically, wouldn't recommend this one to the group.

I also bought Adrienne a pair of Elmo slippers. She just had to show them off. It was a great mellow weekend.

Pretty Girl

I like to go to this website called babysteals.com everyday. They release something baby related each day. It is typically a pretty good deal although I am not always interested in the item they are selling. The other day they were selling these really cute skirts so I bought one. SO CUTE!!!! I had so much fun watching her crawl around in this. I was not a very girly kid, so I am so hoping my daughter will be.
