Six Flags!

She didn't want to ride on an animal, only the bench.

Yes, she gives the stink eye, but she liked Tweety.

Seriously, I can't ride that? And, turns out that chick works for IBM too.

I don't want anything to do with that!

She is saying "cheese!"

Paul is such a trooper. I love him!

We went to what I will always call "Marine World" yesterday. I wanted to do something over the weekend and have wanted to go there for a while now. I was a bit concerned about the crowds and whether or not Adrienne would like it or not. Surprisingly it was a great place yesterday and Adrienne loved it. There are a bunch of areas for small children with rides and water fountains that they can walk through (of course our kid is scared of most of those.) She loved the dolphin show and got to walk around the park. All in all a very good day. Highly recommend going with small children if you are looking for something to do one weekend. Some tips: Plan to get there before opening (parking is easier) and brings snacks (they do not allow outside food in but we buried it at the bottom of the backpack and they barely checked it.) Also with all of the water features, bring extra clothes and shoes so they can go through the fountains. My kid wouldn't but I am sure the less timid kid would love it! They don't let prego chicks on the rides so I was the designated picture taker. Paul is always such a good sport by taking her on the little trains etc.

So far pretty good

Well the first night in her new bed was great. She slept all night without getting up. We thought "perfect!" The second night was a completely different story. Let's just say she figured out how to get out of bed. She got up about 4 times before she finally went down for the night. During the night, she got up another 4 or so times. Pretty miserable night. Paul and I were really unsure after that. The next couple of nights were not terrible but she did get up crying once during the night. We were thinking, ok, let's just get this phase nipped in the bud by the time baby boy comes. Last night was perfect. She has been going down without issue and she slept through the night without getting up. Woo hoo! Were at least heading in the right direction. She seems to like the new bed and now the novelty of getting out is starting to wear off. Yippee!

Big girl bed!

With Baby Boy coming in less than 2 months now, we needed to get Adrienne out of the crib. I decided to get her a twin bed and we just got it completely set up today. We brought her into her room to see her new bed and it was really cute, she absolutely loved it. Lot's of giggles and smiles. So far so good. She went right down tonight and she has been sleeping for over an hour now without any issues. I am optimistic that the new bed will work out just fine! My big girl is growing up. It is so cute but a part of me is a little sad too.

Adrienne and the furry kids

The Sam man is getting much older and his daily pill intake seems to be increasing every month. I realized that I do not have many pictures of Adrienne and the dogs so when Adrienne was giving him hugs yesterday I needed to grab the camera. Poor Sam, he takes 32 pills a day, has congestive heart failure, hip dysplasia, is almost incontinent, has the worst gas that anyone has ever experienced and is 13 years old. He is so patient with Adrienne. Maybe because he can't move very quickly! Adrienne probably wont remember Sam so this will be a good way to help remind her of the old boy. We love you Sam, even when you poop on our floor.
