Cousins, Snow, Fairytale Town Oh My!
We had an invasion of the cousins last week. First, Paul's oldest sister Tricia came into town from Alabama with her kids Jack and Kate. We went up to Tahoe and spent a few nights in a great cabin. There was a ton of snow and the kids had so much fun. Adrienne is still a bit unsure of the snow (big shocker) but I think she will come around in a year or two.
Then, our nieces Lauren and Amelia spent a few days with us. We did all sorts of things like arts and crafts (hence the headbands in the pictures), John's Incredible Pizza and Fairytale Town. It was a great weekend and we all had so much fun with these crazy girls.
Love spending time with the fam, wish we could see everyone more often. Now, Paul and I will sleep for the next week!

YIPEEE!!!!!
Oh the baby boom just keeps getting bigger. I recently found out that a good friend is having her first baby and then last night I find out my cousin is having her first this year too. 2011 Baby Boom. I love it. Congratulations to all of my Mommy friends out there having babies this year.

I love this picture. Both Adrienne and I are so wiped out. I am thinking "Wow is this my baby?" So happy. Can't wait to meet my little guy in July!

It was bound to happen sooner or later
Well, I have heard about it. Dreaded it for about a year and a half now. It happened tonight..............................Adrienne pooped in the tub. Man was it a pain in the butt (for me that is.) I called for reinforcements (Paul) and we were able to handle the matter. I really hope that is the last time. One can hope can't she?

Back to Disney World!
O.K., so we were back in Disney World last week. I had to be in Orlando for work so we decided to make a trip out of it. We had a ton of fun but I have to admit, I can take a little break from Disney for a little while. At least a year. We went down with Paul's parents, his Sister Amy and her family and my Mom. Adrienne did a little better with the rides this time around but she is still pretty timid. She still loves the characters but only from a distance. Once they get close, she is not having it. Once they step away, she is all smiles.
Adrienne had fun hanging with her cousin Luke. They are just about the same age and very different personalities. Adrienne can be very serious and cautious and Luke is affectionate and busy! They both had a lot of fun. Amy was a trooper being 30 weeks pregnant. She was walking around will all of us doing really well. I was getting tired at times and wondering how she could do it. Playhouse Disney was closed while we were there which was really disappointing. She loves that show!
We did have a couple of mishaps while we were there. Paul broke Adrienne's leg! Yep, the kid prefers him and he breaks her leg. No, just kidding. They went down the slide at the park and she got her leg caught on the side. We took her to Urgent Care but nothing was seriously wrong. The unfortunate thing was that she would not walk for the entire time we were there. The other mishap was Nelly. She is called nervous Nelly for a reason. When we leave town, she tries to escape from the back yard. She got out and luckily the neighbor saw her. He said that he first thought she was a coyote. Too funny. Nelly ended up spending the week with her cousins Gambit and Sammy. Poor Sam stayed home alone. He probably loved it.
A lot of fun, wish I got more pictures of the kids together. Well, that is about all that went on with us. Here are some pics from the trip.

Hangin with Daddy
O.k. so it has been a little while. Really we have not been up to much so I haven't posted anything. We did go to the zoo last month and Adrienne went on the carousel with Paul. Let me preface this with, we rode the carousel in Disneyland and she did not like it. Once the horse started to move, she looked at Paul and started to cry. This time, he sat with her on one of the benches and she loved it. Here is a picture of her in Disneyland and then at the zoo. Night and day difference.
