Andrea got something out of her element at The Crab Pot. It was pretty fun.

Paul had to go to Seattle for work so we decided to go with him. We were there for over a week. This was my first time there and I really liked it. It is a very clean and scenic city. We went to the zoo, the aquarium, Pikes Place Market, Pioneer Square, and the children's museum (where the Space Needle is so we saw that many times too.) We were going to ride a ferry boat but it was a bit rainy (go figure) so we decided to pass on it. Maybe next time.
One of the days after Paul was done with work we went over to this shopping mall next to the University of Washington. What an awesome place. The mall was really nice but just seeing parts of the campus and the area around it, what a great place. I wish that I went to a big school like that. Maybe in another life ;-) We ate at a brewery that was filled with Huskies stuff and college students. While we were eating, out of nowhere, Adrienne starts yelling "Roll Tide!" Seriously, we did not provoke her to do that. It was pretty funny but I don't think anyone noticed.
All in all a good trip. Of course all of our pictures are of Adrienne. Very few of Matthew. We will try to work on that. Here are some pictures of the trip, sorry they are a bit out of order.

I needed to head out to the mall this morning and I was able to sneak out with just Adrienne. She was such a good girl. We did our shopping and then went to the little kids area so she could play. Adrienne was so good. Playing so well while some other kids were not so good. After a little while she asked me if we could go. Since she was my little angel, I spotted the Jelly Belly store across the way and decided to take her in. They gave her a hat and she wore it for the entire time we were in the mall. She can be so challenging these days but I love this little kid so much. She is too cute!!!!!!!

He's nearly off the charts!

Today Matty is 2 months old. He had his drs appointment this morning and he is a whopping 16 lbs. 10 ounces! I can't believe how big he is. I asked the pediatrician if I was doing anything wrong and he assured me that everything is right. Adrienne was a big baby but he takes the cake being in the 99% for size at his age. He is pretty sleepy today so I snapped a quick pic. I realize that I do not know how to take a good picture. I will have to have Paul snap some when he gets home.

Kenny Palooza

Paul's Mom came into town last week and we had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from her trip. Most of them are of the kids. Nelly found a new best friend....Kate. Tricia, you might have to get her a dog. Or let Nelly come and live with you!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Adrienne!

Well, it's a day late but my little stinker turned 2 yesterday. She had a little party at Chuck E Cheese's on Saturday and had a great time. Last night I got her an ice cream cake from Baskin Robins. Let's just say Adrienne now knows the words "Birthday Cake." She loved her birthday and Paul and I can't believe 2 years has gone by. Happy Birthday Munchkin, Mommy, Daddy and Matthew love you very much!!!!

My boy is getting bigger!!!!

O.K., Matty is getting big just like his sister did at this age. Adrienne plumped up big time after birth but Matty is growing in all directions. He is super long too. He blast through 3 month clothing and is already wearing 6 months. We are going to Hawaii in November and I bought 6 month clothing for him to wear on the trip. Well, I will need to do some more shopping now. I doubt he will be wearing 6 months in November. My big boy. I wish he would sleep a little longer at night. Come on kid, clearly you are getting plenty to eat, SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, these pics were taken on his one month b-day. He has grown even bigger since then. I need to take new pics!

My Mother the Hero

I have to say a little something about my Mom. She was so great on Tuesday. I pulled a rookie maneuver and let Adrienne lock me out of her apartment on Tuesday ( I go there with the kids when the house is being cleaned.) I felt completely helpless that I could not get to Adrienne and Matthew. Adrienne did not understand what she had done, so she couldn't understand that she needed to unlock the door. Totally panicked, I called my Mom at work to come home right away and unlock the door. She came as soon as she could, pretty much within 10 minutes. I am not sure the fire department could have been there faster.
Yes, Mom you drive me crazy sometimes (and yes, I know you read my blog so you will see this!) but you are wonderful to me and my kids. You always rush over when I have my many emergencies. What would I do without you? Thank you for your help on Tuesday and thank you for being there every other time I call. You know that there will be more!
